New Indonesian Cable : XL's or Moratel's ?

I've just "incidentally" found a hint for a new cable as I was delivered to a webpage from Moratel's official Mr. Par. It could answer some rumors I've mentioned previously. :-D Somebody can confirm this ?

Indosat's Jakarta - Surabaya Optical Cable (SKKL-JS)

BSCS (2)

BSCS is officially confirmed! Below are some statements quoted from bisnis.com (early February ??). However, it doesn't contain so much information except that Telkom really has this project! Whether some NEC people could give more infos than this ?! :-D I'm sorry to say it here, but "actual news" on NEC Submarine Website aren't updated since July 2008 (more than six months!) :-D

BSCS Route (Singapore Strait) - Somebody could translate this to map ? :-D

SJJK (2)

Any new development of this new Excelcomindo's submarine cable ? It rumors that the project has already started in December last year (2008) ... Anybody could confirm this ?

XL is currently the third largest operator, which owns the third largest long distance transmission infrastructure (mainly optical transmission cable). I've mentioned about this in several posts previously. As a complement to those, recently some media quoted XL press release regarding their infrastructure in Bangka Belitung (Babel):
  • Jakarta (Pademangan) - Mentigi (Belitung) --> 350 km
  • Belitung - Bangka --> 310 km
  • Bangka - Jambi --> 376 km
  • Jambi - Batam --> 296 km
*Update* Source Bisnis.com 25/11/2008 | thanks to Meneer
  • CAPEX : USD 31 mn
  • Link Jawa-Sumatera, East Java (Surabaya) - Kalimantan (Banjarmasin)
  • Length : 550 km
  • 4 tender participants; 6 invited; awarded to ASN
  • Capacity : 12 FP, 10 Tbps design
However, I don't find any official project release from international sources ??!
